I’m pretty lucky to have two awesome moms, both whom are amazing cooks with their own unique cooking style. I like to think of my cooking style as a nice combo between the two. This Coconut Curry Seafood Soup recipe was given to me by my step-momma, Arla, who like me, loves to experiment with multi-cultural cuisine.
This kale and brussel sprout coleslaw is a copy-cat version of a pre-made salad that I saw at the grocery store. It looked awesome in the bag, and even came with the cranberries, pumpkin seeds and dressing! But unfortunately, the ingredients weren’t organic, and the second ingredient in the dressing was liquid sugar….so I put the bag back, and turned around to search for the ingredients! This salad turned out awesome, and is a more delicious and more nutritious version of traditional coleslaw. It would be a hit at any potluck or summer BBQ.
This sweet salad dressing is great for coleslaws and spinach and broccoli salads. The apple cider vinegar makes this poppy seed dressings unique and delicious. Unlike store-bought salad dressings, this one is guaranteed to be preservative and GMO-free. Poppy seed salad dressing a definite salad-staple in my house!
